Feelu is a children’s storybook to aid in self-regulation, bullying strategies and recognizing emotions. Feelu is a fun adventure that can improve children’s mental health. It helps children to explore their feelings and handle them in a healthy manner. Feelu also encourages children to be kind and mindful, and to relax their bodies and minds. It also gives suggestions for how to react to bullying. Feelu’s goal is to spread love, kindness and happiness by promoting the mental health of all children, including those with autism and special needs.

This book is accompanied by the Feelu iOS app. Feelu is produced by Little Whale Inc., a software company focused on designing high-quality apps for kids.

Niloufar Shafiei obtained her PhD in Computer Science at York University in Toronto in 2015. Right after her graduation, she founded Little Whale Inc., a software company focused on designing high-quality apps for children. Drawing her inspiration from her children, Niloufar is the idea generator behind the apps. The first version of the Feelu app was released to the App Store in May 2019.

Niloufar believes her children are the best teachers she has ever had. Through the ups and downs of motherhood, she has learned that exploring feelings is essential to happiness. Feelu is a full package of fun activities that help children be happier and calmer. Niloufar hopes the little ones enjoy reading this book over and over.
